Silvia attends a tribute to her ex-husband César, a police officer who died in the line of duty. She is given his personal belongings including his gun, much to her discomfort. A series of apparently coincidental events and a meeting with Molinari, the Chief Commissioner of Internal Affairs, makes her uncomfortable and makes her suspect that there was something more than an accidental death. She suddenly finds herself immersed in a criminal plot that turns out to be darker than it seems awakening feelings from which she has been trying to escape her whole life.

Silvia asiste a un homenaje a su ex-marido César, un policía fallecido en cumplimiento del deber. A ella le entregan sus pertenencias personales, incluyendo su arma, creando en ella un malestar. Una serie de hechos aparentemente coincidentes y un encuentro con Molinari, el comisionado jefe de Asuntos Internos, la incomodan y le hacen sospechar que hubo algo más que una muerte accidental. De repente se ve inmersa en una trama criminal que resulta más oscura de lo que parece, despertando sentimientos de los que lleva intentando escapar toda su vida.
